Cookie policy
This policy lists the cookies we set, how long they last, what they are for, and how you can control them in your browser.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Airlines Contacts Africa uses cookies so a staff login can stay open and so the site can protect forms against abuse. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell browsing data.
Cookies we set
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in while you use the staff dashboard. It is essential for that login. It is usually deleted when you close the browser or sign out.
- XSRF / CSRF token — a security cookie that helps stop another site from submitting forms in your name. It is essential for login and for saving listings.
- Remember-me cookie — only if a staff user asks the login page to stay signed in. It stores a token, not your password.
Public visitors who only read airline pages do not need an account. Their browser may still receive the security cookie when they load a form, including login.
Analytics
If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool later, we will name it here and say whether it uses cookies. Today the public directory does not run advertising pixels.
How long they last
Session cookies last for the visit. Security cookies typically last a few hours. A remember-me cookie, if used, lasts longer so a trusted staff browser does not need to type a password every morning. Exact times can change with server settings.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. If you block all cookies, staff login will not work. Reading Kenya and East Africa office pages should still work. You can also use the browser’s private mode, which usually drops cookies when the window closes.
