Who we are

Airlines Contacts Africa (“we”, “us”) operates this website from Nairobi, Kenya. The same directory is also known as Airlines Contacts Kenya. The site publishes airline office phone numbers, emails and addresses. It is not an airline and it does not sell tickets.

Scope

This policy covers the public website and the staff login used to maintain listings. It is written with Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019 in mind. If you only browse public pages, we hold very little about you.

Information we collect

Account data for staff who sign in: name, email address, password (stored as a hash) and login timestamps.
Technical logs that a web server normally keeps: IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. These logs help us keep the site up and investigate abuse.
Messages you send us if you email or call the contacts on this page, including any listing correction you attach.
Cookies needed for a logged-in session. See the cookie policy.

We do not ask the public for passport numbers, payment cards or booking references. Airline listings on the site are business contact details, not a dossier on passengers.

Why we use it

To publish and maintain the directory.
To run staff accounts and keep the site secure.
To answer a correction, complaint or privacy request.
To understand, in aggregate, which pages are used so we can keep Kenya and East Africa listings useful.

We rely on legitimate interests in running a public information site, on contract where a staff account exists, and on legal duty where Kenyan law requires us to keep records.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Hosting, email and security providers who keep this site online may process data on our instructions. We may disclose information if Kenyan law requires it or if we must protect the site against fraud or attack.

Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations, typically up to 12 months unless an investigation needs them longer. Staff accounts last for as long as the person maintains listings. Emails about a listing are kept while the correction is useful, then deleted or archived with the listing history.

Your rights

Depending on the Data Protection Act, 2019, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Write to info@airlinecontacts.co.ke. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.

Children

The directory is written for adults arranging travel or cargo. We do not target children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this notice changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after that date means the new notice applies.
